The Touch Move Heal Membership Platform
Where learning meets community
Julian Baker has been a manual therapist, teacher, and dissector for over thirty years. He has taught thousands of students around the world and has now centralised his passion and knowledge into one community space.
His passion stems from a desire to share this knowledge with others, helping therapists to not only improve their skills but also to achieve better outcomes for their clients.
Over the years Julian has developed an enormous library of content, ideas, insight around anatomy, movement, fascia and treatment with the hope that he can help the every day practicing therapist to better assist clients in need.
He has now created a unique space to share his knowledge and experience, dedicated to creating a community of like minded practitioners who wish to develop their understanding of how the body hangs together in ways more relevant than the traditional approaches.
The space is FREE to join, with additional areas where more in depth examination of the body, dissection content, regular webinars and ongoing learning spaced can be joined for a small monthly membership fee
The space, hosted on Mighty Networks, is designed to be accessible to every level of therapist without distractions, advertising or irrelevant content and allows for constant interaction with other members from around the world.

I found when I was learning bodywork, that the anatomy I was seeing was hard to relate back to clients. What I was feeling in my hands didn't have an explanation in the books. Relationships from one area of the body to the other didn't seem to be acknowledged and variations in loading and movement seemed to be ignored.
Traditional anatomy is taught by learning the names of different systems and parts of the body, but how these parts might have a functional impact on another part is rarely covered. A foot can change the way it lands, which will in turn affect the position of a head. This is the basic law of physics, yet it is entirely ignored in anatomical teaching. It might work for doctors, but it's a poor model for manual and movement therapists!
In the early 2000s I started undertaking and later teaching human dissection classes which aimed to demonstrate the joined up nature of the body and demonstrate how functional relationships abound at every point in our human existence. This approach has fundamentally affected the way I teach and treat and is the guiding principle behind everything I do within the therapeutic field.
Founded by Julian Baker in 1995, our mission is to revolutionise the way therapists understand and interact with the human body. From dissection workshops to fascial release techniques, we provide hands-on, evidence-based learning experiences that empower healthcare professionals to elevate their practice and achieve outstanding client outcomes.
Julian's journey began with a deep-seated fascination for the human body's intricacies. This fascination led to the creation of Touch Move Heal, a platform where therapists can continuously learn and grow.
With over two decades of expertise, Julian has crafted courses that not only enhance practical skills but also foster a supportive community of like-minded professionals. Join us and be part of a movement that's transforming therapy from the inside out.
